After visiting with my intern today, we decided to start the detox over. The main reason as to why I stopped was because a. I hated just juicing b. that feeling made me unmotivated and c. studying for and writing midterms basically took up my life for the last 2 weeks.
Now that I’m going to be eating and juicing, and I’ll have to practice tenants of self-care for hydrotherapy anyway (think saunas, alternating hot cold showers, drinking plenty of water, castor oil packs, dry brushing…) I think I can definitely follow through this month!
I’m interested to experience the effects of a (relatively) ‘true’ detox. Let’s see how this goes!
Has anyone tried various practices over because they couldn’t follow through the first time around?
